FAQs

How does MTS match students with the right tutor?

MTS considers the student's subject, curriculum, academic goals, and learning requirements when arranging a tutor match. Families can discuss these needs during the introductory meeting to establish whether the tutor's expertise and teaching approach are suitable.

Can tutoring focus on specific topics instead of the whole syllabus?

Absolutely. Sessions can target particular chapters, concepts, weak areas, homework questions, coursework, or exam topics rather than requiring students to work through the entire syllabus.

Do I have to pay before the first tutoring session?

MTS offers a free introductory meeting before paid sessions begin. Once you are satisfied with the proposed arrangement, you can confirm the tuition and make payment.

Can I find a tutor who teaches my child’s specific school curriculum in Qatar?

MTS offers tutoring across several programs, including the Qatar National Curriculum, British curriculum, IGCSE, A-Levels, IB, and American curriculum. Share your child’s grade, school program, and subject when submitting a request so the MTS team can match them with a suitable tutor.

What if my child is not comfortable with the assigned tutor?

If a student or parent has concerns about a tutor's performance, they can share feedback with the MTS team.  MTS can help arrange a replacement with a click. MTS is committed to connecting students with a tutor whose subject expertise, teaching approach, and availability are suitable for your requirements.

How can parents stay informed about their child’s tutoring?

Parents can share feedback with the MTS team and raise questions about the tutoring arrangement. MTS also describes session monitoring and the sharing of lesson notes or presentations as part of its tutoring process.
